Well Rate Table

Oil reservoirs allow definition of a table to calculate Well Reserves and Initial Rate as a function of reservoir cumulative production. When this option is enabled, you still have to select which wells will be affected by this setting by unchecking the option to Override reservoir Well Rate table settings which now appears on each Well Details Tab.

Well Rate table
  • Cum Oil: Total cumulative production of the reservoir.
  • Well Reserves: Total reserves of wells that become active.

Intermediate values are calculated using linear interpolation. The GOR and Water Cut are the values for all wells at a given cumulative production from a reservoir, i.e., all wells defined with the same Well Rate Table will have the same GOR and Water Cut at any given time. The GOR and Water Cut are not initial values.
